Key Skills & Experience:
- Active Speech Language Pathology license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Background in pediatric therapy and previous school-based experience highly valued
- Knowledge of IEP documentation, assessments, and the provision of direct and consultative therapy services
- Comfortable serving a broad age range—infants through high school students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students from birth to 12th grade
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments as part of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans to address articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication needs
- Consult with educators and families to support student integration and academic achievement
- Maintain thorough records and documentation according to school and regulatory requirements
- Engage in professional collaboration, supporting a positive educational environment
This is an 8-hour-per-day role, averaging approximately 37.5 hours each week, ideal for those passionate about fostering communication skills in young learners across the county.
