School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Whittier, California

You'll collaborate with a supportive team to help students build confidence and develop vital communication skills.
The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through December 19th, with the potential to extend—providing room to grow and adapt as your career progresses. Both Clinical Fellows and SLPs with their CCC are welcome, offering valuable experience for those beginning their careers as well as seasoned professionals.
What you'll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- California Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligible for licensure)
- CCC or Clinical Fellowship candidates encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth and collaboration with staff and families
- Previous school-based experience is valued, but not required
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and creating individualized treatment plans
- Delivering direct speech-language services to elementary-age students
- Participating in IEP meetings and documenting student progress
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintaining compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
