School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | White Plains, New York

You’ll work on-site at an elementary location, providing individualized and group therapy across a variety of student needs—including those who are non-verbal. The position runs from ASAP through June 25th, offering consistent hours and a supportive school environment to make a real impact this school year.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license/certification with CCC
- Previous experience supporting elementary-aged children in a school or pediatric setting
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort and experience engaging students with diverse abilities, including non-verbal communicators
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide 28 speech/language sessions (30 minutes each), structured as ten 30-minute group or individual sessions per day
- Serve on-site three days per week (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch), for a total of 16.5 hours weekly
- Deliver interventions aligned to students’ IEP goals and unique communication needs
- Maintain thorough records and participate in regular progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
