Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for New York State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Prior experience providing speech and language services in an educational setting, especially at the elementary level, is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of tailored intervention strategies for diverse student populations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Provide 28 individual speech and language sessions per week, each lasting 30 minutes
- Develop, implement, and adjust therapy plans aligned with students’ individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes, maintaining accurate and timely records
- Collaborate proactively with teachers, special education staff, and families to support holistic student growth
- Contribute insights and recommendations for educational meetings and IEP reviews
