In this role, you will:
- Deliver up to 40 sessions per week, with each session lasting 30 minutes, focusing on a diverse special education caseload.
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialized staff to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Assess students’ communication strengths and needs, documenting progress and adjusting interventions accordingly.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals for students.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages every student’s growth in communication skills.
- Maintain accurate student records in accordance with school and state requirements.
Preferred qualifications:
- Credentialed as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP with current eligibility to work in a school setting.
- Prior experience in school-based speech-language pathology, preferably within special education.
- Adept at thorough evaluations, writing clear reports, and employing evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit for working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices in the field.
