This role offers a structured day from 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM and a manageable caseload—delivering a maximum of 40, 30-minute sessions per week—enabling focused, meaningful work with each student.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Holds state licensure and meets requirements for SLP – CCC or SLP – CFY
- Strong background providing speech and language therapy services in a school setting
- Experience (or interest) in working collaboratively within special education teams
- Ability to develop, implement, and document effective therapy plans individualized to each student
- Positive, resourceful attitude and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language interventions to students with varied needs
- Maintain accurate service and progress records for all sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary team collaboration
- Consult effectively with educators, staff, and families to enhance student outcomes
- Adapt and tailor interventions as needed to foster student engagement and success
