Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience in school-based speech therapy strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Comfort working with diverse student populations and adapting to their unique needs
- Passion for helping students achieve communication milestones and academic success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in group settings
- Conduct thorough speech/language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to support each student's IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Offer support and resources to teachers and parents to facilitate generalization of communication skills across settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise in speech and language development
