Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Valid state license (TX)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students’ needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students as indicated in their IEPs
- Document progress and maintain student records in accordance with district and regulatory standards
- Consult with parents, teachers, and other support personnel to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
