Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a school setting, particularly with high school-aged students, is valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in high school students
- Create and execute individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to integrate support strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and meet required reporting deadlines
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development as needed
- Support students’ academic and social growth through effective intervention
