- Ability to develop and implement IEP goals, track progress, and adjust strategies as necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Organized, self-motivated, and adaptive to a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to high school students with a variety of needs
- Conduct assessments, interpret evaluation results, and help determine eligibility for services
- Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings
- Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and support staff to create a positive educational experience
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, progress notes, and reporting as required
- Offer consultation and training to staff and families to promote students’ generalization of skills
