Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Active state licensure or ability to obtain before start date
- Experience in school-based settings, especially with high school students, is highly preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
- Collaborative team approach, comfortable consulting with staff and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop IEP goals tailored to individual students
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a small caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to support student learning
- Monitor progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Develop strategies and interventions for receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language needs
- Facilitate an inclusive, positive environment for high school learners
