Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school environment, particularly with adolescents
- Familiarity with IEP processes, speech/language assessments, and individualized goal setting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and professional growth
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for high school students
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy tailored to students’ diverse needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide consultative support to educators and families
- Document assessments, progress reports, and session notes in a timely and accurate manner
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Empower students to develop their communication skills, confidence, and independence
