This immersive travel role offers a unique chance to work in the Compass High Program at Ludlow High School, a specialized educational setting for high schoolers with Autism Spectrum Disorders or learning differences. You'll supervise an SLPA, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and develop individualized strategies that spark student growth and independence. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP-CCC credential
- Eligible for state licensure in MA
- Proven experience with AAC devices
- Background in school-based or special needs settings
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about individualized education plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Direct speech/language services for high school students in a specialized ASD/learning differences program
- Supervision and mentorship of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff
- Develop, implement, and monitor students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Incorporate AAC technology and communication strategies to maximize student outcomes
