Qualifications & Experience
- Current, active NCDPI SLP license (attach documentation with your application)
- Familiarity with ECATS required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to work full time (37.5 hours/week) from August 4, 2026, to May 28, 2027
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, in-person speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct evaluations and screenings
- Attend and contribute meaningfully in IEP meetings
- Document assessments, present levels of performance, and develop annual goals
- Collaborate with other educators and staff
- Travel between Albemarle Middle School, Norwood Elementary, and Aquadale Elementary (EC PreK) as required
