Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP-CCC certification or eligibility to obtain
- State licensure (or willingness to secure it prior to start date)
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities using appropriate tools and techniques
- Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals tailored to students' IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative services in both individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate progress notes and contribute to student records and IEP meetings
- Collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, and families to ensure student success
- Participate in school team meetings and support the development of communication strategies throughout the school day
