School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Racine, Wisconsin

Make a difference supporting young learners as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near Racine, WI! Two onsite SLPs are needed for the upcoming 26/27 school year, with immediate opportunities for both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Provide direct impact for elementary-aged students in a nurturing environment, working across one to two neighboring schools. Each site is supported by a lead SLP to help you succeed and collaborate.
As a full-time contract professional (37.5 hours weekly), you’ll enjoy a structured schedule while making a lasting contribution to student growth. This contract runs through the school year, with the possibility of renewal for the right fit. Additional caseload specifics will be discussed during your interview.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Open to CFY candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship
- CCC-SLPs encouraged to apply
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to collaborative, student-focused practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to elementary students
- Develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and assess communication needs
- Consult and collaborate with on-site lead SLP, special educators, and families
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by the district
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
Candidates will receive compensation starting at $50 per hour or more, based on experience.
