Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Weatherford, TX
Embark on a contract opportunity supporting K-12 learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with a diverse and dynamic student population. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children while collaborating closely with dedicated educators and families.
Ideal candidates thrive in school-based settings and are skilled in pediatric speech-language pathology. Starting as soon as possible and extending through May 2027, you’ll manage a full-time caseload while enjoying the stability and structure of a school calendar. Your responsibilities will include providing direct therapy, conducting evaluations, participating in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, meticulous progress documentation, and supervising SLPAs as needed.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Active Texas SLP-CCC credential required
• Experience with school-aged pediatric populations (K-12)
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Ability to conduct evaluations and deliver direct therapy services
• Proficiency in maintaining documentation and ARD participation
• Comfort with supervising SLPAs
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individual and group therapy to students across K-12
• Conduct speech-language assessments and report findings
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans
• Attend ARD meetings and collaborate with educational teams
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
• Supervise and support assigned SLPAs
