Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred (CFYs will be considered)
- Prior experience supporting elementary caseloads in a school setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate with educators and families
- Commitment to providing onsite therapy (remote work is not offered for this role)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs to determine appropriate intervention methods
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed for optimal support
- Regularly document and report on student progress in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary support team
- Serve as a resource to staff and families, offering strategies for carryover of skills into the classroom and home
