Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome
- Previous school or pediatric experience is ideal
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support professionals for comprehensive student care
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of assessments, progress, and outcomes
- Provide direct and consultative services in accordance with IEP goals
- Contribute to IEP meetings and process documentation
- Offer support and education to families and educators on effective communication strategies
