Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state license or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome
  • Previous school or pediatric experience is ideal
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support professionals for comprehensive student care
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of assessments, progress, and outcomes
  • Provide direct and consultative services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and process documentation
  • Offer support and education to families and educators on effective communication strategies
