This full-time assignment runs from early-mid October through March, covering a maternity leave. You'll serve PreK students ages 3-5, dividing your time between two dynamic schools. The collaborative, team-based evaluation model spotlights professional growth—especially if you have experience with Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessment. As you partner with dedicated educators and specialists, you’ll expand your professional skillset, broaden your resume, and immerse yourself in innovative early childhood practices. While Spanish language skills are appreciated, they are not required; a positive, open attitude and passion for working with young children are what matter most.

Desired Qualifications:

  • SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLP-CFY credentials
  • Experience or interest in school-based settings, specifically working with PreK (ages 3-5)
  • Familiarity with team-based evaluation; Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessment a plus
  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
  • Spanish language skills helpful, but not required

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to PreK students in inclusive classroom settings
  • Participate in transdisciplinary team evaluations and contribute to IEP development
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and families for holistic student support
  • Adapt therapy techniques to engage diverse learners and meet developmental goals
  • Communicate progress clearly to educators and caregivers
