School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Vista, California

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Deliver both direct and consultative services as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
- Advocate for students’ needs, ensuring access to academic and social opportunities
