Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates are welcome
- Pediatric and/or school-based SLP experience preferred
- Flexibility to provide services via teletherapy if needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to culturally sensitive, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver therapy sessions individually or in groups, tailored to student needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, progress, and outcomes
- Collaborate regularly with educators, families, and other professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
- Integrate evidence-based practices and current methodologies into therapy
- Educate school community members on communication disorders and strategies for support
