What You’ll Bring:
- Holds a valid Texas SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric and school-based settings
- Strong background in conducting assessments, delivering therapy, and managing IEPs
- Comfort with itinerant work; flexibility for potential multiple site assignments (specific campuses assigned prior to start)
- Ability and willingness to work exclusively onsite
- Clear communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Previous school experience required
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive speech/language evaluations and develop individualized plans
- Deliver direct therapy to diverse student populations, from early childhood through school age
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, families, and student services
- Maintain precise records and comply with all state and district policies
- Travel to assigned schools as needed within the district (mileage is provided)
- Adapt to varying caseloads and support both evaluation-only and full therapy assignments
