School Speech Language Pathologist - Limestone, TN
Step into a rewarding contract position serving middle and high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. You'll provide direct and consultative therapy services, supporting students' communication development in a collaborative educational environment. This contract role offers a stable schedule with 35 hours each week, running from now through May 21st, 2027.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP licensure for the state of Tennessee
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience working with middle and high school students preferred
- Strong assessment, therapy planning, and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 77 students
- Evaluate and identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in line with school and state guidelines
- Provide guidance, strategies, and support to staff and families for generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student educational plans
