Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) welcomed; Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered
- Previous school-based experience or strong interest in working with PK–8th graders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and participate in multidisciplinary evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students’ IEP goals
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services for a varied caseload
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation on student progress and compliance
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support student achievement and communication needs
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as an essential member of the educational team
