Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Florida, or eligibility to obtain one
- Accepting Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those with CCCs
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered intervention
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment services for students in PK-8th grade
- Develop and implement IEPs in conjunction with the special education team
- Work closely with families, teachers, and staff to support generalization of skills across settings
- Gather, track, and report data on student progress, maintaining all needed documentation
- Participate in team meetings, providing recommendations and expertise for student success
This contract position will give you the opportunity to build positive relationships with students while seeing the progress of your interventions over the school year. You'll play a pivotal role in helping children find their voice—academically, socially, and emotionally.
