Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current SLP license for the state of New Jersey
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Strong background or interest in pediatric and school-based settings
- Experience providing therapy in healthcare or clinical environments a plus
- Skilled in in-person and/or teletherapy delivery methods
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered, culturally responsive care
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer evaluations and conduct individualized therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and communications
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff trainings as necessary
- Utilize both traditional and technology-based platforms for therapy and progress tracking
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging therapeutic environment to maximize student success
