Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students in school-based settings
- Strong skills in individualized assessment, therapy planning, and documentation
- Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
- Effective communication and organization abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment goals, and maintain thorough records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to the team
- Deliver both individual and group interventions tailored to student needs
- Support classroom teachers with strategies and resources for students’ communication challenges
- Maintain regular communication with families regarding student progress
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
