School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Glastonbury, Connecticut
Step into a dynamic and rewarding role supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. In this position, you will provide services to a varied K-12 caseload, collaborating closely with educators and families to help students succeed academically and socially. With a Monday through Friday schedule totaling 35-37.5 hours each week, you’ll enjoy consistency while working with a variety of age groups and communication needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in Connecticut
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and parents
- Passion for supporting learners with diverse communication backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions
- Maintain documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate on intervention strategies and support classroom integration
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise
