School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Manchester, Connecticut

This is a full-time, contract position running from August 2026 through June 2027, serving K-12 students in the greater Manchester, CT area. As the district-wide SLP, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students’ communication and language development across multiple schools, collaborating with educators and families to promote student success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse, district-wide caseload
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluate speech, language, and communication needs of students across grade levels
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support
- Maintain accurate and timely records, documentation, and progress reports for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding communication disorders and intervention strategies
