Your role will span August 2026 through June 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule offering between 35 and 37.5 hours each week. As the district’s dedicated SLP, you'll collaborate with teachers and support staff to provide vital speech and language services across various school sites, ensuring diverse learners have access to the communication resources they need.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Previous experience working in school environments with K-12 students preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students across the district
- Administer assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary
- Consult with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure cohesive support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success through data-driven recommendations
- Maintain all required documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
