Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lancaster, California

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), required
- Previous experience in school-based SLP settings preferred
- Background working with pediatric and adolescent populations (K-12)
- Proficiency with assessment, diagnosis, and development of individualized treatment plans
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, parents, and support staff
- Commitment to culturally-responsive and inclusive practices
- Flexibility, adaptability, and enthusiasm for supporting diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-12 students in an onsite school setting
- Conduct thorough evaluations and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Partner with teachers and other school professionals to support student success
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with educational standards
- Engage families in the therapeutic process and facilitate communication regarding student goals and achievements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to support whole-child learning
