Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • Current and valid state certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist for schools
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Experience in a K-12 school environment preferred, but strong clinical skills considered
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods for diverse student populations
  • Motivated to work onsite in a supportive school community

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with teachers and parents
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Provide support and training for educational staff and families regarding communication disorders
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the school’s intervention team
