Qualifications & Required Skills:
- Current and valid state certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist for schools
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Experience in a K-12 school environment preferred, but strong clinical skills considered
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy methods for diverse student populations
- Motivated to work onsite in a supportive school community
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Maintain accurate records of progress and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide support and training for educational staff and families regarding communication disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the school’s intervention team
