Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students experiencing speech and language challenges
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct therapy sessions focused on speech and language development
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team—including educators, therapists, and support staff—to ensure integrated care
- Involve and educate families to enhance student participation and generalization of therapy strategies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged children strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to self-direct while working effectively as part of a larger team
- Compliance with all state and national guidelines for school-based SLPs
