Bilingual School Speech and Language Pathologist | Waukegan, Illinois
Make a meaningful impact working as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students across K-12 settings. This contract role offers full-time hours and is set to start immediately, continuing through June 2, 2026. You’ll enjoy a predictable schedule with guaranteed hours, while only delivering direct and indirect services—no bus duty, parent pickup, or additional district responsibilities beyond your contracted times.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois SLP license, or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English
- Experience in schools preferred; open to passionate clinicians excited to work in education
- Strong interpersonal and cultural competency skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality bilingual speech therapy across a K-12 district
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes
