Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- School-based experience or strong clinical background with pediatric populations preferred
- Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and inclusive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, administrators, and parents
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district protocols
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support students’ academic success
- Offer consultation and in-services for staff and families when needed
