As a valued Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for K-12 students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals and progress monitoring
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, student-focused learning environment
- Engage in professional development to remain current on best practices in the field
Ideal candidates possess:
- A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Valid ASHA CCC-SLP certification or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) supervision available
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to empowering students at all ability levels
Pay for this contract opportunity ranges from $60-$70 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications.
