Speech Language Pathologist in Vacaville, CA
Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives by providing speech-language pathology services within a supportive school environment, just outside the Vacaville area. This contract opportunity seeks 10 dedicated professionals ready to join a collaborative team, making a positive difference for PreK through 5th-grade students.
In this on-site role, you’ll work a structured full-day schedule of 7.75 hours with a 30-minute duty-free lunch, from 7:45 am to 4:15 pm. You’ll have the ability to connect one-on-one with learners, with caseloads capped at 55 to ensure quality support and attention for each individual.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable and experienced working in person
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among PreK-5th grade students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions in both individual and small group settings
- Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
