School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Gridley, California

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
- Completion of or eligibility for the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) is highly desired
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working within educational teams
- Adept with virtual communication platforms, if applying for a remote position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations, deliver targeted therapy, and develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for students with speech and language needs
- Provide in-person services for two days per week, working closely with both students and educators
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs as appropriate
- Maintain timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Effectively communicate with families, staff, and multidisciplinary team members
- Adapt therapy methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students
