Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Michigan state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience supporting pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and targeted treatment plans
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in accordance with students’ goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support generalization of skills within classroom and community settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current in evidence-based practices
