Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or a strong desire to work in educational settings
- Effective communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Comfort with assessment tools and writing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to students’ individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in speech-language development
- Provide consultative support and strategies to classroom staff
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
