Ideal candidates will bring:
- Current licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children, particularly K-4th grade populations
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Effective collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and school teams
- Commitment to maintaining accurate records and complying with school and state regulations
- Energetic, compassionate approach to empowering young students
In this role, you will:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students individually and in small groups
- Conduct regular screenings and comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs
- Develop and revise Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate progress to families and participate in meetings as needed
- Provide consultative support to educators regarding classroom strategies and accommodations
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with policies and standards
