Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or CFY status
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to collaborate well with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Passion for nurturing and advocating for young students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K–4 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain required records
- Partner closely with classroom teachers and other special education staff
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers regarding student progress
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and multi-disciplinary collaborations
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
