Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current PA state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship applicants considered
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication skills and comfort working within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students based on IEP goals
- Evaluate and identify students’ speech and language needs through formal and informal assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing reports and recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment, and student progress
- Educate and collaborate with teachers and staff regarding communication strategies in the classroom
