Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but open to strong Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Expertise in using evidence-based strategies with diverse student populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each student’s unique goals
- Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, progress, and communication with staff and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to IEP development, and support compliance with all relevant regulations
- Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school-based speech therapy
