Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Universal City, Texas
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide vital support during a 12-week maternity leave starting in December. This full-time, contract role serves a pediatric school-based caseload in the Universal City area and offers a dynamic setting working with students of varying needs.

As part of your responsibilities, you will supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), ensuring therapy practices align with best standards and supporting professional growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior school-based experience highly preferred
- Strong background in pediatric speech and language disorders
- Experience or readiness to supervise SLPAs
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Provide direct and indirect therapy and progress monitoring
- Supervise and mentor an assigned SLPA, ensuring quality of service
- Participate in IEP meetings and school staff consultations
- Support student success in both individual and group settings
