What We're Looking For:
- Active Texas SLP license.
- Clinical experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations.
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP with a background in educational environments.
- Confidence supervising and mentoring an SLPA.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services within a school-based setting to meet students’ individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress to foster communication skills.
- Supervise, support, and guide the assigned SLPA, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings with faculty and families.
- Educate and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote generalization of skills across environments.
