Preferred Qualifications:
- Current or in-progress TX Speech Language Pathologist license (SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLP-CFY)
- Previous professional experience in a school setting
- Strong background or training in pediatric speech and language disorders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group therapy to students, addressing a wide range of speech and language needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on IEP goals and assessments
- Engage in collaborative meetings, including IEP planning with educators and families
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and comply with all state/school regulations
- Offer support, training, and resources for teachers and families to enhance student outcomes
