Qualifications and Experience
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Texas
- Clinical Certification (CCC), CFY, or relevant experience with pediatric and school-based populations
- Previous professional experience in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with students, families, and staff
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive educational atmosphere
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative services to students with communication disorders
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth and success
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and special education staff to create individualized support strategies
