School Speech Language Pathologist - Turlock, CA

This contract role is available immediately and extends through June 2027, offering a stable, rewarding position for an experienced or early-career Speech-Language Pathologist.
You’ll work onsite, directly supporting a manageable caseload capped at 55 students. While full-time candidates (35-40 hours/week over 5 days) are strongly preferred, there is flexibility to discuss part-time arrangements. The daily focus will be on assessment, individualized intervention, and collaborative progress monitoring for elementary-aged students—helping them reach key milestones and thrive academically.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid and active SLP license for California
- Ability to work with K-6th grade caseloads
- Strong understanding of school-based speech therapy best practices
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Previous experience in a school setting is an advantage (not required)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing speech-language assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy and small group sessions
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation for all students on caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
