Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Hold an active state SLP license or certification (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience providing speech therapy in a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to create and implement effective treatment plans and IEP goals
- Detail-oriented, with strong documentation and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting students’ academic and social development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services to K-6th grade students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress reports under applicable guidelines
- Perform speech, language, and communication assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary school teams to promote student success
- Utilize a variety of intervention strategies tailored to each child’s needs
- Maintain accurate case documentation in accordance with school policies
- Engage with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
