School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Delhi, California
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students while advancing your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity runs through June 2027 and offers you the chance to work with a supportive staff and a vibrant student population in grades K-6. With a manageable caseload of no more than 55 students, you’ll be able to focus on providing quality therapeutic services and fostering student growth. While full-time schedules (35-40 hours per week across 5 days) are preferred, candidates seeking part-time hours are also welcome to apply. This position is onsite, giving you the opportunity to collaborate face-to-face with educators, students, and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Prior experience with school-aged children, particularly grades K-6, is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team
- Dedication to creating positive, inclusive therapeutic experiences
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to K-6 students
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support overall student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and engage in ongoing professional development
- Adapt therapy techniques to effectively address diverse student needs
